Maybe you have a growing family and need an extra bedroom or playroom, maybe you are starting a business and need an office, how about a spare room for guests or an art studio? There are endless reasons why you might need extra space in your home. Is your loft space being wasted by storing junk and empty boxes? Put your loft to better use by converting it into a habitable room that will add value to your home.
Its expensive to move home
So having made the decision that you need a bigger house you then encounter the next problem, these days it's very expensive to move house. In the UK you have to deal with stamp duties, estate agent fees, removal fees and of course all the stress that goes hand in hand with moving home. In areas like London and the South East house prices have risen so fast in recent years that buying a bigger house will mean a massive mortgage.
Loft conversions
There is a cost effective alternative to moving house, increasing numbers of people are now deciding that it's better to move up rather than out and are opting to make use of the space in the loft of their house. Loft conversions add an extra room to your existing house, remove the hassle and stress of moving and will add value to your home.
